Cultural Diversity from 29 countries of Europe - The 3rd Europe short film festival is a film festival held in South Korea.
This work uses the color of 29 countries’ flag as a main graphic element to interpret its cultural diversity. It also consists of eyes as a metaphor to festival’s subtitle, ’50 different views’. The design wants to make a humorous impression even if it doesn’t look obvious. For instance, the letter P stands for the Germany which contains its flag’s own color, red and yellow. The letter F is Sweden as another example. These visual systems can be adapted across lots of different sizes and formats such as prints and digital medias according to simple guidelines.
